This will be useful just vm is power.on while the vm is power.off because if the vm is power.off certainly the mode will be show =0. All non restored.vmdk's are now 0KB. Restore the.vmdk locally to the Backup Exec server and import it into the virtual machine. Alternatively, restore the entire virtual machine under a different name.

You can enable clustered VMDK support when you create a new VMFS6 datastore, or enable clustered VMDK on an existing VMFS6 datastore. Before enabling clustered VMDK support, ensure all hosts connected to the datastore are using ESXi 7.0 or later and are managed by vCenter 7.0 or later. All hosts connected to the datastore must be managed by the same vCenter.

- Navigate to any inventory object that is a valid parent object of a datastore, such as a host, a cluster, or a data center, and click the Datastores tab.
- Right-click the parent object and select Create a New Datastore.
- On the New Datastore page choose a device with the attribute Clustered VMDK Supported set to Yes. Create a VMFS6 version Datastore.
- Once the Datastore is created go to the Configure Datastore tab.
- Under General go to the Datastore Capabilities section. Click the Enable button for Clustered VMDK.
- Once enabled, you can use the Disable button to disable clustered VMDK. Disable will not work if there are any WSFC VMs using clustered VMDKs on the datastore. All virtual machines with shared disks on the datastore must be powered off.
network topology
A network topology is the arrangement of nodes -- usually switches, routers, or software switch/router features -- and connections in a network, often represented as a graph.

Virtual Machine Disk file for VMware virtual machines
The VMDK file extension is associated with the Virtual Machine Disk (VMDK) format specification used with VMwarevirtual machine files.
Non-virtualized computers load and execute hundreds or thousands of individual files, including operating-system kernel files, device drivers, application components and data files. Virtualization abstracts the software from the underlying hardware and puts all the constituent data for a given virtual machine (VM) in a single disk file. The disk file is essentially a complete and independent virtual machine.
A disk file with the VMDK extension is a virtual machine using VMware virtualization products or other platforms that support VMDK files such as Sun XVM, QEMU, or VirtualBox.
The VMDK file format competes with the Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) format used with Virtual Server and Hyper-Vhypervisors.
